Each day when you arrive to work, you should inspect the store and then review the previous workplace checklist posts and give guidance.
Each day at work on every shift you should act as the shift lead unless you are supervising a subordinate as they act as lead (see below).
Two shifts per week, you should supervise one of your subordinates as they act as the shift lead.
You should review all closing docs from Toast and address any issues (labor, low or high sales, cash over/short, paid outs) with written posts on Workplace in the Shift Leads group.
Conduct a roundtable meeting weekly with your Assistant Cook & Service operator using the Round Table Meeting Agenda and review how well they are doing their jobs. Give them specific instructions on how to improve. At this meeting, prepare the Weekly Store Review, noting any areas that are deficient and need attention or are exceptional and need praise. Submit it to the Director of Operations for review by Tuesday at 3pm.
Conduct a monthly Shift Lead meeting alongside your Assistants, where you review the performance of the individual shift leaders, and you give them guidance, criticism, and inspiration using the Monthly Shift-Lead Meeting Plan.
